SILVERSAND VILLA consists of two connected luxury villas in a verdant garden. We have a spacious dining and sitting area with an open kitchen. The yoga space looks out to the pool and garden. Yoga classes and sunrise meditation is also held on the rooftop with spectacular views of the surrounding rice fields and the ocean.

All bedrooms have air-conditioning, a luxurious en-suite indoor/outdoor bathroom, toiletries, fluffy towels, daily housekeeping, luxury linens, pool towels and a turn-down service.

There are four spacious bedrooms in the villa that are shared by the retreat participants. Two bedrooms on the ground floor level each have two single beds. 
The upstairs 
bedroom suites have three single beds and a sitting area.
All bedrooms have a luxurious en-suite indoor-outdoor bathrooms and plenty wardrobe space. Pillow top mattresses, luxury linens, fluffy white towel and pool towels as well as toiletries are included.

On request, private rooms can be arranged in neighbouring accommodations, subject to a single room surcharge. These rooms are simpler than the villa accommodation.

We are serving locally sourced, clean, vegetarian food - a nice mix of local Balinese, Asian and Western plant based dishes. Our meals and snacks include lot's of goodies like nuts, seeds, fresh tropical fruit and superfoods and as many organic vegetables we can find.
To boost this weeks wellbeing we have integrated a detox option for your lunch.
We'll have snacks like smoothies / smoothie bowls, chia puddings, and energy balls every day. Apart from bottled water there will be fresh young coconuts, golden turmeric tea, chai tea, local coffee & tea, Arabica coffee and English Tea, herbal teas and fresh fruit water or juice.

What do I need to bring to the retreat?

How to get there?
Fly to Denpasar International Airport Ngurah Rai.

Arrival day is Monday, the 4th of May. Depart any time after breakfast on Saturday the 9th. We will be providing supper on Monday evening and yoga and breakfast on Saturday morning.
We can arrange airport transfers if you let us know your flight details in advance. If they coincide with another arrival we arrange transfers together.

What is the retreat schedule?

There will be 2 hatha yoga classes a day, a big breakfast, smoothie or detox juice for lunch, plenty of time to relax, swim, have a massage, read a book. Healthy snacks & smoothies available throughout the day and a hearty dinner will be served at night.

 

In addition we will practise pranayama (breathing) to calm the mind as well as a daily sunrise meditation for the earlier risers.

The schedule is not set in stone and is subject to how we are all feeling, what we need and what works each day. This is part of the journey and the experience and helps each of us to practise the disciplines of flexibility and open mindedness.

Leini Ireland is a qualified Yoga Instructor and an accredited member of Yoga Alliance International. Leini trained under the discipline of Yoga Paramgati to attain her teaching certification in Paramgati Transformational Yoga. She is a qualified Kundalini and Hatha Yoga Instructor, her teaching being well rounded in all 8 limbs of Patanjali’s Yoga System.

A Philosophy degree from Warwick University, forays into the world of Investor Relations, PR, Event Planning and Management brought her finally into the world of Yoga.

Leini has been practicing yoga for 23 years and meditation for 15. Her beginnings were a solid base in Iyengar Yoga, moving onto the discipline of Hatha. She continues to broaden her knowledge through a wide range of teachings. The focus of her work is to bring more awareness, clarity, peace and mindfulness into each moment and to be with loving kindness in the world.

Britt Schwaabe fell in love with Bali on a vacation together with her husband and two daughters, and serendipity brought them to buy this beautiful piece of land and build a place to unwind in the real Bali.

 

As a self-proclaimed foodie, hobby chef, Bali grocery scout and collector of cook books, Britt will look after your nutritional well being and happiness during the retreat. All dishes are served with love, pride and joy by her and our fantastic villa butlers / private chefs.
